Default Sharing my friend's sadness & the issue on motorbike danger

i hv a gd frend whose bro passed away a few days ago. his bro were caught in an accident when ridin his motorbike. the other party died instantly, while his bro was in coma & was admitted to ICU. His leg was being removed in order to maintain his life. my frend was very worried everyday while staying by his bro's side. His parents & his bro's gf were tearing. Then, the worst came. I cant imagine the sadness, especially for his mom & his gf. so for those who ride bikes out there, be more careful wif ur life, for those ard u r deeply affected when accidents occur. & for those who plan on riding a bike, hv second thoughts. i myself wanted to buy a bike over the nx few months, but now reconsidering. i mean, i lik the idea of owning & riding a bike, but at the risk of accidents and even death every second u r on the rd. no one can predict the future, jus lik wad happened to my frend's bro... he was a well-established teenager in his early twenties, wif a stable job & beautiful gf, & it all ended in jus a few days due to motorbike accident... can anyone tell me shuld i or shuld i not be so keen on buying a motorbike?

but life is definitely more valuable then what you pay for cars...
if you cant afford it go public.. nothing wrong with public transport..
nowadays.. everywhere is accessible...

It was in the newspaper don't know how many weeks, months ago...
"It will only take you 4 minutes to reach any part of Singapore via MRT."(When the new mrt lines finish that is.)
It'll be useless to get cars, left alone motorcycles?

i know alot of friends who passed away due to bike accidents...
sometimes its not the bikers fault but they ended up paying the higher price..
is it really worth it?
when you are in the state when you have to amputate your limbs or worst die.. is a few thousand dollars really that much that you got to save in order to risk your life?
is taking public transport really that troublesome? even if you know you are drunk? lol... food for thought..

i just feel that we must value our life more.. dont make people ard you sad.. =D

i agree with u..

yet, i believe it's kind of the same with traveling ard..
whether u drive a car or bike, u still have the danger of meeting wif an accident..

most imptly, is to drive safety and abide by the traffic laws, isn't it?

If you are in need of a personal transport, I'd recommend that you get a car instead because it'll give you more protection than a bike when accidents occur...
Accidents will occur but the risks and danger is greatly reduced if you take extra care when driving...

Of coz car is better,
u know in a bike, the person behind always die first?

and usually the person sitting behind will be a gf of the guy who is the rider,
imagine the guilt you will have.

I feel so sorry that this has to happen, but he is an example for you,
take the bus, pay sbs even if its not worth it.
if ur richer, take the cab, despite the erps.

at least ur safer u know..
my friend n his gf also gt into accident, both my classmate, heng onli injuries,
but was in hospital and both families were blaming each other..

SG FTW!
