Use the "Marquee Tool" and cut that object then use "ctrl + c" copy it and paste it lor...

Well i am currently using adobe photoshop CS3... and the Marquee Tool button is on the top left corner of the tool bar.

Yup, or instead of "ctrl+c" to copy and paste, you can simply drag the selected item from the first window to the 2nd one... I personally prefer this method cos I'm lazy to press the keyboard when I'm using my mouse, lol.

And omg I'm so jealous of you! I want CS3 too! But no money to buy, it's darn expensive! Some more I'm using mac, which I don't think has pirated versions right? Ahaha...dang.

Maybe you want to try the free transform way ? Ctrl-T after you pasted the picture.
