i think dis father is downrite stupid.. for juz over $1000 debt... he commit suicide..
cant he seek help frm RC or his sibling?! he still got $16 in his wallet when he's dead...
for my grandma.... she left only a few DOLLAR! when she is dead....
dan he wanna die.. oso choose a method dat wun affect other pple de mah..
such as hang himself up...nw, his body still needed to ma fan other pple to clean up...
nt i am cruel, but den... his alone discison hav affected at least over 10 pple le... dan sum more he tihnk his body will stay thr , pple wun perform a funeral for him de meh!?
dan he die le.. he let his wife to worry abt hw de funeral de moeny.. for funeral.. it nid at least a few k of money to hav it..... lucky de pple in sg is willing to donate to dem.. wat if we hack care dem n dun donate to his family?! dan his wife die le la.... hav to worry hsehold bill is alredy a pekchek... dan he die liao.. sum more hav to worry de funeral money....
dan more pek chek le sia...
dort dort.. a grownup dan dosent think much... he tihnk sg government is call for fun arh!?!? he does nt noe hw to seek help de meh...

Tho i feel sorry for that dead man's wife... but here's a tot to consider about.
1) if he really wans to die, why jump track? y not juz off the blk of his hdb flat, which will save his wife some travelling time to see his body?
my opinion:
desperate attempt to get public sympathy, wanting the public to noe about their plight and send in the donations. since alive also no money, might as well one die dramatically an let the public noe about thier poverty. In turn, some kind hearted ppl will donate. I dun mean to be a B**ch.. But its a quick way of earning big money at the expense of one's life. | |

On the other hand, it could also be a headline that many news reporter will want to dig info around on. Sometimes it's not like they choose to be on the headlines overnight. It's tough when a pillar of support is gone and the wife is left to fed for the children on her own. Even with the donations, it won't last a lifetime.
