The only reason you post this here is because you think there are still hopes. Why give up when you know that it's because you don't really know how to bowl correctly with a high-end reactive ball? Give yourself a chance... Get some coaching, and I'm sure in no time, you will break your own personal record over and over again.

Hi Jedi.

From what I read from your msg is that you are not really ready to give up this sport. Bowling is fun when you are in good company. Since you invested of a good sum of $$$ on your bowling setup... I recommend you join Team BOB for their training sessions and at the same time get to know more bowling kakis.

You can also join in any AdHoc bowling sessions posted on this forum to meet more people.

Hi Jedi,

We dun know how old you are so I dunno how many years you have been bowling...anyway, dun give up so easily. As what the others have suggested, get some coaching. You can join us for training to get your basics right.

ok...since i really don't want to give up, i will give myself one final chance in this life...i will join BOB and see whether i am really hopeless...one final time...

I will submit the registration form. But as I have got work, study and family commitments, i hope the team will give me some time and understanding if i can't attend every training and meetup.

But rest assure that my love for this game is still there, but just that other things in my hectic life needs more attention at this point in time...

i bowl most of the time at mount faber (also where i malu myself becos the home team is there training...) as it is near my workplace. And i can bowl only on weekdays, from 6.30p.m to latest 8.00p.m. Saturday will depends, and Yishun is fine for me on Saturdays...

So when is the next training session that I can join in?
I look forward to meeting all of u experts out there.

Hi Jedi, I bowling at Mt Faber too as I stay quite near there.... We can meet bowl together if you wish to.... However i might not be able to point out your bad habits etc coz myself also average only but can practice together

. By the way who is the home team you referring?

Trainings are held on Mondays, 8/9pm and Saturdays 12/1pm - you need to check on the forum for updates on the exact timing for the week. Refer to thread on the Training. If not, you can contact the in charge for the day. Desmond on Mon and Daniel on Sat.

dun sound so sad in your postings

well,at the end of the day its your passion for the game itself will be the driving force behind all things
well u can actually try to make it into a family outing
we have a few of the members here who have the whole family here including the mother who cant bowl but enjoys herself at watching her children and grand children at play while they are bowling/training
at the very least the family will know what u are doing and probably join in the fun and will gel the family together as well

i also just put in my registration form. purchased my own ball around 2 weeks ago to save me the inconvenience of always looking for a house ball to fit me and also stop paying $1.50 everytime for the shoes! haha!

i purchased my set from safra mount faber, the normal set for $170. got a 13 pounder straight ball and normal scores around +/- 120

congratulations on making that sacred decision to own your own bowling equipment! hahahaa... reminds me of that very day too, some donkey years ago... heehehe...

seriously, can anyone recommend me a dry lane ball? even after I tweaked the surface of my black widow pearl, the ball still over hooks if I were to play a small line... ended up paying for 2 drinks @ balestier csc haha
