I sold my BH Global today 27th sept. Bought 6000 shares only at $0.69, Sold 3000 shares at $0.775 and 3000 shares at $0.770.
Total profit = $400++

i' m not ready to go into shares at the moment as I do not have a fix/stable income, dun wanna burn my finger especially I need the money I get now for 08/09 when I'm doing my bachelor... but shares is really interesting please share a tip or 2 with me if you have any! =)

You just see my trades, no tips one la, must monitor lor. I sleep very little each day. I got my day job as well as trading. If no money then don't trade cos easily to get burnt if not enough money to pick up the stock, i play contra sometimes but not advisable.

That's a smart move. While we will never know how much we can gain from investments, we definitely know how much we need to spend on certain stuff (like education).

I haven't invested much for the past few months despite the market movements because I'm doing my part-time degree and have to save over $1k every month for it. Only yesterday, I made an order on silver using some extra savings I've accumulated apart from my savings for my education.

Warning: Correct me if I am wrong but I sort of got a feeling that TS is creating an beautiful illusion about stocks....

Its ok to discuss tips etc, but dont create an illusion that making money on the stock market is easy.

We know that all those 'small time' iinvestors got their entire savings wipe out because of initial gains....

So, once again, let this thread be a discussion thread and not a thread of expanding egos.

huh?? U r wrong... hahahahaaaa... bcos u dunno TS in person....

He's a hardcore trader by passion... 1 day can sleep only 3 or 4 hrs to monitor sg n hk market in day time and us market during wee hours... yes, everyday unless it's e countries' holiday... a willing person to share and discuss trading experiences... but no tips la... cos nobody can commit a guarantee.. it's not fair.. esp if the outcome is otherwise, who's gonna be responsible..

I guessed TS wun haf the time to clarify ur post bah... but obviously he dun gain anything out of this thread.. I'm not going to explain on his behalf his intention of starting this thread too...

But Ican for the reminder... it's really important to know one's own ability in terms of $$$, time, understanding on the stock market and of course luck before plunging in.

May I ask Where is the beautiful illusion abt stocks i am creating? Which part of the thread did u get your perception from? I will apologise and correct my post once you point out.

Let me share with you a story.... A young man who like to climb a mountain, he have seen people climb mountains, he heard stories after stories how people succeeded in conquering mountains...everyday, he yearns to climb a mountain, but he has no money to equip himself with gears for mountain climbing, he has no knowledge to climb a mountain.....his parents don't allow him to climb the mountains too because it is too dangerous for him. Everyone tell him it is very dangerous to climb a mountain. He heard of horrible stories how people fell down, how people met with mishaps. He also heard wonderful stories abt reaching the mountain top, enjoying breathtaking scenaries, feeling the excitment normal people can't feel.
One day he met a seasoned mountain climber.....the boy ask him:" is mountain climbing dangerous"?

You shoud be smart enough to guess the answer.
We certainly heard of stories how mountain climbers met with mishaps. Have we access their situations, the circumstances they encounter, the equiments they use for mountain climbing? instead of making a sweeping statement mountain climbing is dangerous.

Whether making money on stock market is easy or not? It's for me to know.


Is it really okay to discuss tips? Is there really tips? This is not an examination. There is no right and wrong answer.

Which direction this thread is heading, I hope you respect the decision of the TS, kindly tell me if I did not adhere to the forum guidelines. I will make the neccesary amendments.


I understand and appreciate your concerns however I certainly hope you are not voicing out because you feel the need to. From your statements, it's easy to access your understanding of the stock market. By the way I don't mean any offence here, this is all my personal opinions.

lac lac, this is a thread for passionate investors to discuss. I'm quite keen into investing, been reading about the various types of investments since starting of the year and i can say investing is really something that no 1 can ever predict and TS mentioned how much he will MAKE OR LOSE during this 1 month....

Theres no sure-win tatic in investing, just that with proper study and analysis you can lower your risk of losing money. But still you'll lose money if you suay when ur stocks plunge for some stupid reasons.

One must understand the simple rule of trading. Actually all these shouldn't come so soon, I thought another 2 weeks more then i share more theories with you guys. I saw some threads expressing interest in stock market, since trading is part of my life, I thought I may be able to share some experiences with people here.
Stock market is it like retailing, you buy cheap, you sell higher to lock in a profit. There is only 1 difference, the market determines your selling price. If the market sentiments is good, the share price goes up. Of course this work both ways.

You want to sell a product, you will research the demand of the product. You will wanna know the true value of the product. So you know what price can you bring in the product and at what price can u sell it. .......To be continue........ I will finetune what I write here later when I have the mood and time. There is alot of analogy to make stock market a little easier to understand.
