Bus No 24 From Changi Airport To Ang Mo Kio Did not Come at the usual Time . When i saw My Friends Waiting but did not come . In the end The Bus Stop is Unusally Crowded .

Any ideas What happen ?? :handsup:

maybe you could try asking sbs ba ?
maybe bus maintainence or breakdown or accident or something.

haha it happened a few times b4.

I waited @ changi airport and it dint came till a long time later n when it did, 2 bus came @ e same time. Both was crowded..

think nth much lah, most prob is previous bus breakdown or might be heavy jam @ Geylang serai? haha just my guessing

and the passengers for this 2 bus services are unusually crowded at times

i have to say, not onli bus 24,
alot of buses are lidat.

even with the new system tellin us when the bus will come,
i think its purely a waste of resources,
i had the board sayin the bus arrived, and NO, it didnt, when it arrived, it was like 17mins later, half way here and there lidat.

Dont bother callin sbs or wad bah, i think the best they can tell you tt its an ocassional breakdown or whatever, and they will try their best to improve.

Not only SBS Service 24, but SBS Service 81 at my area is also like this.
The worst scenario I have encountered is that 3 buses of the similar number came together after waiting for 45 mins at a bus stop.
Infuriating isnt it?

Almost every bus service are like that. Sometimes wait for the bus wait till very sian. But sometimes when you are not in a hurry, the bus comes very fast. But when you are in a hurry, the bus seems to come very very slow. Sometimes very annoyed about it.

nope. but am a Singapore-Australian Based bus enthusiast.

the problem might not be the driver's fault.
you cant blame him for unforseen traffic conditions and passengers not moving to the rear of the bus AUTOMATICALLY.

you can ask yourself,
did you help the bus driver by moving to the rear instead of jamming the front of the bus?

bus drivers had to shout across the bus cabin to ask people to move to the rear, in this process, it already took like 3-5 minutes. i personally timed it while i was on service 16.
the fault do lies in the commuters too.
