no..i'm nt...but heard from my grandma sae cant be together...cause ur kids will be i****...my "kor" oso sae so...cause 500yrs ago u all r relatives..den but my 3rd uncle n his wife is d same surname...hv 3 kids...2 sons 1 daughter...gd in studies...tink tis type of tings depends la...  ~[[`life_is_meaningless_without_him`]]~

My girlfriend and I have the same surname as well. 
But, I've heard that as long as you two are not related within 3 generations of your family, then you are fine.  | |

but then ar...i heard from my mummy is that her father used to have the surname of 'tan'.but then he was been adopted by another family so he changed his surname to 'ho'.then my last auntie married to her husband whose surname is 'tan'.then her son who is also my cousin now ar...looks like those 'white eat'(translate it into chinese) type and then he got alot of problems like ear need to put the hearing aids,eyes got one side is lan duo yan,then i think he also got zi bi zhen also....

Errmm my surname is Lim and my husband's is Lam (He is cantonese.. apparently Lam = Lim have the same chinese character)
My grandfather was like "o.O same surname?" Ahh.. but in the end.. he never object lar.. time has changed i guess
