Quite true,If you can score between 40~50/100%,you would most likely get an A or B grade.However,from what i know,there're more & more companies in the corporate sector rejects RP grads.But if you wanna work in the govt. sector,It's still safe to go RP.

A lvlers dont get priority but still more of them are accepted into NTU & NUS. Whereas , RP, whos diploma is not that recognised get 1 or 2 per 10 into NTU/NUS? They go there to work issit? When did NTU/NUS have so many slots in their degrees. There are foreign scholars, local Alvlers, even though they dont receive priority in receiving the slots anymore, still a significant amount gets into NUS/NTU leaving limited slots for polytechnic students. Imagine 1 or 2 in the 14000 of RP students go in, lets say we take 1.5/10 x 14000. Thats 2,100, and with some courses taking in less than 5 or not taking in students at all(like medicine) , 2,100 i think already more than amount of all poly students in Singapore that NTU/NUS takes in

Seriously.. after reading all the comments.. I think that those who say go RP for the sake that it's a poly, are rather ignorant yeah? It's ridiculous to say that ITE is worst. pulease? are you living in the olden days?

If I were you, I rather go to ITE first. better prospects.

Maybe some might think otherwise because ITE students are already classified under stupid students already. For face sake, they chose RP. What's the point of a dip cert when you have difficulty finding a job?

i heard in RP they only have facilitator....so no one to teach u..u have to teach urself ..which is quite hard lah if u r the type that need ppl push one ....my 2 cents

Well ... First of all , this is my first post here , so , greetings ...

I would say RP because that's where I study lol , however if anyone wish to do a cert in Engg should not come to RP because it is not feasible to learn using the PBL . As an ex-engg student I'd prefer subscribing to rout learning .

SP = Sure Pass
TP = Temporary Pass
NYP = Not Yet Pass
NP = Never Pass
RP = Rubbish Poly =X

ITE = It's To Excel not the END

well well....PBL based on 1 of my friend in RP he told me this PBL is a new way of learning so...there is not much recognition than the traditional method of other Polys....and there is no guarantee in it...its based on your own hard-work and self-learning....

it doesn't matter where u go as long as u have a good attitude towards ur studies u should excel...thats my personal opinion....

LOL....everywhere is the same there are 2 kinds of people slackers and hardworking people....u in ITE naturally u see the weakness and strength of the school....but sometimes we are being blinded by the weakness.....if u are in RP u are also going to see 2 kinds of people slackers and hardworking people up to u whether u want to be hardworking or slacking kind enjoy life....=X we always think the other side is always greener....but all is not that green...

btw i am from ITE going to poly for me time don't matter....if u take a longer route u can learn more things along the way....life there is no shortcut....

ITE bahx. not as bad as you think. Learn from more hands on practice and build ur way up.

3 years back, I was thinking to continue my O levels or go to ITE. End up, I never regretted choosing ITE =)

End up getting Eagles award after I graduated ^-^
