basically, i would say i think poly is still better .. i mean, u come out with a diploma not a nitec ..

but RP wise, i think the reason why most ppl find it not so good is because its "easy" to get in .. wad i hear from a lot of ppl is "cant get into any poly arhx? try RP lor" cux their COP very high ..

There are two options la... go to ite. do very well and then proceed to poly, i hav many friends that did that esp if u go ite after Olevel... or another way is straight to RP and work hard there, i heard u hav to be discipline in order to do well.. it all boils down to urself... its something like the jc poly scenario alot are facing.. If u don make it to a uni after Alevel die.... so if ur stuck with ur higher nitec cert without getting into a poly, u are also facing difficulty competing with the diploma holders

RP is also the same what if your gpa is very low you think university want you? Somemore every school is the same no matter what unless you go private school then will be different case

however with the so called " not so smart " students from the o lvl batch..it might be easier to score in their gpa compared to other polys like NP or SP, because the moderation lvl also affects the gpa..

That's the problem. The unis that review the applications would know the so called "standard" of the poly. So, even if u have a high GPA, they might still rank you lower than the other polys as the standard is just not the same.

I'm working in RP
so far from what I know
if you have a positive mind set, you can make it anywhere.
frankly speaking, a dip is better than an ITE cert(no offense sorry).

but RP's alot about self study etc. and fixed "going to sch" time
and u can meet me there haha
almost every once in a while, students will visit my workplace haha

Dont worry about the people in your past, there's a reason they didnt make it into your future

Go RP better, get a diploma. Go to ITE, get just a certificate.

Go RP better, get troubleshooting skill. Go to ITE, get practical skill only.

Go RP better, can go to university. Go to ITE, can't even step a foot in university.

There's something called step-by-step. Go ITE, take Nitec, then take Higher NITEC, then go to a better Poly than RP, take Diploma, then higher chance of getting into uni than RP grads..

RP diploma is still pending for university whether they want you or not? Stop being having a childish thinking, you name me some people you know from RP go to either NTU or NUS? Please RP they don't really study that much troubleshooting skill they are more on presentation and PBL
