Is it a joke? Do you EVEN care?!



I recently bought a game boy and few games cart. from an collections game store around 23 bucks for both the port and the games .. YES i mean the first GAME BOY not Advance, Light, Colours or anything else .. just the word " Game Boy " the big fat, lime screen!

At first i though .. this piece of junk was like 15 years old .. and i was hoping for some errors and buttons malfuctions .. but in the end, everything was like brand new! Its feels as if its untouched .. just made, that kind of feelings ..

After popping in Castlevania Adventures and Contra .. Cause it was one of my favorite childhood's games when i was a little boy at teh age of 7-8 i guess .. I used to enjoy this game day and night .. After few hours of gameplay .. it felt so darn good! It was like being washed by fresh waters and dried clean!

Few days from here, i decided to show my friends how classic games were .. and when they saw it, they laugh'd they asses off and call'd me names .. " Childish, LAME or whatever else " .. i felt pretty sad after hearing this and i just went home directly .. what a bunch jerks! I was thinking that in Singapore .. Retro Gamers are nothing but a mere joke! Who cares 'bout classic games anyway? I know .. in Singapore, there are gamers like myself ..

And i wish to address myself to this forum that i hope i'm able to meet retro gamers around the world and share my thoughs and moments of my childhood ..

i will think that its old thats all. lolz. den dun care about anything le.

u like it, u use it. dun care about how others think. =\

if my friends see me playing it and if i owned 1, they prolly would whip theirs out too to play.. or maybe bring a cable then we play it together..

i think is good and interesting despite a bit lame

Hell yeah, After i bought it and i played it for like .. 10 hours or so? Couldn't bare sleeping cause the game was just too darn good!

i played that gameboy too!!
But i was really young i think..
it's fun lah! retro-ness is good! but i would not played it now as i rather use the com? LOL!
Some retro games are nice, not lame..
