Default Red Dates Porridge

Ingredients
50g rice
10 red dates
Dash of salt or rock sugar

- Rinse rice and soak in water for about 2 hrs. Soak red dates.
- Cook rice and red dates in half a pot of water and bring to a boil.
- Turn down the heat and cook for 1 hr. Season with either rock sugar or salt.

Note:
- The red dates must be soaked first before cooking as this aids the release of fragrance and nutrition.
- This porridge has moisturising properties and invigorates the lungs. It is especially useful for infants with weak stomach and spleen.

Remarks:
This is a tonic supplement.
Suitable for infant 1 yr and above.
