SGC$: 67.27 Bank: 717.68 Total SGC$: 784.95 | Ingredients 50g rice 10 red dates Dash of salt or rock sugar - Rinse rice and soak in water for about 2 hrs. Soak red dates. - Cook rice and red dates in half a pot of water and bring to a boil. - Turn down the heat and cook for 1 hr. Season with either rock sugar or salt. Note: - The red dates must be soaked first before cooking as this aids the release of fragrance and nutrition. - This porridge has moisturising properties and invigorates the lungs. It is especially useful for infants with weak stomach and spleen. Remarks: This is a tonic supplement. Suitable for infant 1 yr and above. |
