Dear all,

Bought a Wii for my mum and she's now hooked onto the games, therefore the batteries usage are quite high. I noticed that there's a type of Wii charger on the market that charges the Wii batteries via USB.

Would like to enquire if any1 had used it b4 and how's the performance.

Saw these on dealextreme.com thought of buyign it as well. Anyone know if the prices are worthwhile for that website?

i heard the new sanyo eneloop also works well with wiimote...u can try this

hmm, need some numbers to compare..

from what i know, AA batteries typically last about 24hrs on the Wii mote (so if you play 3hrs a day, it's gone within a week).

As for the charging stations i have tried, there's one 1800mAh which lasts about the 20hrs per charge (USB charge from computer or Wii), and there's a new one which claims to last 60hrs per charge. The first one you can use it as a stand, ie, put leave the Wiimote there like a portable phone and it will charge. The second one requires you to take out the battery whenever you charge...

hmm, so far i haven't heard anything from the customers who bought them. does no news equal to good news? haha. i havent got the chance to try either because although i have 4 wii-motes at home, i only use 1 to test if the games are working, if the sets are working.. lol. no time to play.

if i see the customer again on sunday, mabbe i will ask him.

the first one we sell at $25 and the second at $38.

hi eriffej, u have a shop selling the rechargable batteries? and xRebornZ, how's the life of the batteries? is yours the one where u charge the wii mote onto a deck to recharge it? worth buying it?

i use the Sanyo rechargeable AA one, think it should better than China-made battery.
