Many reasons and every reasons you can think of plays a part.

- Bigger exposure;
- Pay;
- Management;
- Never ending reasons...

It all depends on what you are looking for in your job career; what you want to be and what is your target

Employers worldwide underestimate the role stress plays in an employee's decision to resign.

According to the 2007/2008 Global Strategic Rewards by Watson Wyatt and WorldatWork, almost 40% of employees who participated in the survey, said stress was the primary reason for leaving a job. Workers in the US, Canada, Europe and the Asia-Pacific ranked stress as the top reason for resigning; in Latin America, stress was ranked second.

However, on the employer side of the study, 52% said dissatisfaction with base pay was the number one reason why employees leave. They had ranked stress fifth. Meanwhile, they had also viewed other factors like lack of career growth programmes or unhappiness with promotional opportunities as more probably reasons for employees walking out.

"This should be a wake-up call to employers," said Laura Sejen, global director, strategic rewards, Watson Wyatt, New York, "particularly for those who are having a difficult time retaining workers." And the fact that stress was ranked low in the employers' list of reasons for resignations was disconcerting. Sejen added that companies that intend to reduce workplace stress should reconsider their organisational structure, staffing levels and job design.

I leave because my boss don't trust me. So if there is no trust between boss and you, your boss will make troubles for you.

For me, is the interest in the job and the people there. i see no point in keeping my current job when the interest is not there anymore and the people there, they are so hypocritical. Makes me wanna puke everytime i see them so its better that i leave earlier before there comes a day that i really puke in front of them.

Its quite hard to say what is the actual reason that made u leave. Sometimes its the combination of all factors that made u happy working in an environment. And it doesn't really matter if one of the reasons like "bad boss" made u sian, most importantly is overall, I still feel happy working in this place.

Most of the time, I gauge by whether I feel depressed/dreaded to go to work everyday before I tender. I believe if I myself already not motivated den most probably my attitude towards work also no good, end up also leave.
