A dye will usually cause dryness to your hair due to its natural in chemical ingredient. Sacrifices always needed for beautifying urself. maybe you can do follow up after your hair dye; like hair treatment, scalp treatment..etc..

Haha maybe you can check with the salon on which brand of hair dye do they use. Hopefully shishedo or loreal. it will be better.

Yup, Gatsby is kind of dry... but not as dry as Revlon, lol.

lol i am not sure (even im still wondering at time) why i don't encourage my friends to DIY dye themselves. I think its probably due to the fact that u are not able to see your hair clearly, u will not be able to perfect the dye and some of the chemical might even touch ur hair scalp which is very harmful to your hair and scalp.

i dun DIY... usually my hairstylist will try to minimize the amount of chemical touching my scalps. Thats what he and his friend recommended me not to do.

one hair stylist told me before that gatsby product (especially wax) not good one.. it will damage ur hair as it will stay onto ur hair and quite difficult to wash off.. unless u keep washing ur hair...

btw if u want to use mild dyeing product then i think u better dont dye cause it wont stay long on ur hair.. it will be washed of after sometimes... and thats called temporary dye..

Dye hair is best to go saloon, cos when u DIY yourself, the expected shade of colour will not come out, . Cos in the saloon, after they dye ur hair, they will give u heat treatment, to make the colour more obvious. Whereas if u DIY at home, u dun hav the machine for heat treatment

DIY hair dyes are stronger cos you don't get to adjust the peroxide used in it. Lighter colors can make the hair dryer as well.
