I would understand paranormal phenomenons as incidents or situations that are primarily foreign or alien to us. One common feedback we get is " I can feel them and yet they are not within my visuals". :speechless:

Energies are perhaps related to our chakras and such and usually, we are not able to see the flow around us. Its quite a dynamic theory to assumed, but wouldnt every darnest thing be made possible if someone out there had already got a clue on how this system works.

like in the tarot section of the astrology forum... i did mention sth abt energies...

its like everyone of us has a kind of power source that's not tapped and there are tools ard that can either amplify that power or convert it into something else...

examples are like people who can heal (perhaps like using Reiki?) or people who can do super human feats (the part abt using the other parts of our unconcious mind).

for me, i can feel the energy flow if there's movement through the "tools" that i have mentioned. so for tarot, i can really feel it. same goes for latent energies that spirits leave behind if they are attached to a place

And I thought this was some quantum physics discussion! =P

Well, the closest theory I've heard on this was that only about 3% (or something) of the human brain is fully utilised. If you were to up it to even 10%, the results will be tremendous.

Our brain is just like the CPU of the computer, if it were always at 100% it would be a crappy CPU won't it?
You use different parts of your brains at different times. That doesn't mean you don't use your WHOLE brain.

dunno abt the ability of using most of just 3% of the brain wat i heard is quite many a portion of the whole brain is dormant conciously or sub-conciously

Well, how do all of you feel about holistic treatments? For instance, Reiki or Qi Gong healing? Both treatment utilises the concept of energy transfer from one body to another to treat others. This energy is supposedly invisible to our naked eyes and may be felt sometimes during a treatment. As you can see, most of us are used to taking drugs/medicines so as to feel better and perhaps the feeling of popping a medicine pill into stomach may also make us feel better psychologically. Will you pay for a service which do not require you to take any medicine and only to feel but not see whats the active 'drug/medicine' thats working in your body?
