psychometric tests for civil sector jobs

anyone sat for these tests? how is it? did u get the job in e end?:surprised:

got fren who sat through as part of a job interview at MINDEF. Mainly IQ questions where they show you a sequence of pictures and you will choose the answer from multiple choices. Fren said the questions are very tricky... I guess that's how they assess your IQ.

i have seen the questions...its very difficult..

i sat for the test at CPIB last year.

didnt get the job too.

received email said my application is not successful 3 days after the test.

was surprised by their efficiency :x

so its based on results..how long is the test btw?

they only shortlist suitable for the tests?

anyway to train and study for the test

the test consist of 3 parts.

each 30 mins and i think 1 of them is longer. in between the tests have 10 mins break.

so i spent the whole morning there

how they shortlist candidate i not sure.

go commonwealth / queenstown mrt take dunno wat bus, few stops away.

go and gain exp lor. maybe u can pass?

can take a look at the sample question on the website. all are quite similar.

i have an offer to join civil service, but i never sat for any test, just interview by a panel
