Do you think its possible to start a service based business for less than $1k? I am not talking about joining MLM or website affilate. I am talking about registering and starting a service business?

More than enough...

My capital used to start my business was 1k also. I used around $300 to register my sole proprietorship business and services. The rest is for me to fall back on if the business goes into net loss. So far no problem.

Anyway, in everything that you do, sincerity and lots of effort is required. But humans tend to become lazy. Wanting the easy way out of things. Thus all the strange methods and crazy ideas come out from the harmless MLM industry. MLM is just a structured way of doing network marketing.
