Default Poor Dad Rich Dad

Dear all,

Taken from an infamous blog.

~Ramcem

__________
Poor Dad, Rich Dad.

Poor Dad: Child, work for a Cooperation.
Rich Dad: Child, owns the Cooperation.

Poor Dad: Son, be a Smart Person.
Rich Dad: Son, know how to hire Smart people.

Poor Dad: I cant afford it.
Rich Dad: How can i afford it?

Poor Dad: Son, Study hard so that u can find a good company to work for.
Rich Dad: Son, Study hard so you can find a good company to buy.

Poor Dad: Child, the reason i am not rich is b'cos i have u kids!
Rich Dad: Child, the reason i must be rich is b'cos i have u kids!

Poor Dad: Son, when it comes to money, play it safe, do not take risks.
Rich Dad: Son, Learn to manage risks.

Poor Dad: Our home is our largest investment and out greatest assets.
Rich Dad: My house is a liability. If your house is your largest investment, you are in trouble.

Poor Dad ---> Struggled to save a few dollars.
Rich Dad ---> Simply create investments.

Poor Dad ---> Teaches his child how to write good and impressive resume so he could get a good job.
Rich Dad ---> Teaches his child how to write strong business and financial plans so he could create jobs.

Poor Dad: I'll nv be rich.
Rich Dad: I'm a rich man! Broke is Temporary. Poor is Eternal.

Poor Dad: I'm not interested in money. Money doesnt matter.
Rich Dad: Money is POWER! I don't work for Money, Money works for me.

"Go to school, study hard, get a good job" ----> The most dangerous advice u can give ur child.

Getting a good education and making good grades no longer ensures success. Has anyone noticed?

Have u noticed that there are alot of accountants who arent rich? And Bankers, and attorneys, and stockbrokers and real estate brokers. They know alot, and for the most part are Smart people, but most are not rich.

The main reason people struggle financially is b'cos they have spent years in school but learned nth about money. The result is that people learn to work for money.... but nv learn to have money work for them.

Above all are quoted from the Book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" A book by Robert T.Kiyosaki. This book simply tells u What a Rich Teach Their Kids About Money - That The Poor and Middle Class Do Not.

People will nv understand the true purpose of studying. We study for the knowledge and not for the money tt allows us to take back with tt level of qualifications.

Learn and follow the path of a Rich and Successful person, u will end up being like them.
Follow the path of an unsuccessful person, you will end up struggling life like them.

It's indeed a good book. For those who've read this book should be on my side. For those who disagree, Fyi, this is a book by a Successful person. Ask yourself. Are u as successful as him? Are you able to be as successful as him with ur own way? Have u succeeded in life? Have u succeed in getting what u want in life? If ya just a pathetic fella who earns only 1k or 2 a mth, jolly well shut da gap and read the book.

What RK is trying to say is no matter how high you study or how clever you are, school doesn't really teach you to be financial literate.

For a start, try to be at least financial independent instead of relying solely on a job drawing a salary, no matter how high. Once you can achieve that, then you can become richer.

Contrast it with people who are not willing to spend that few years to build up a strong foundation. They spend the next few decades suffering. I don't mind sacrificing a few short years to build a strong foundation for the many decades to come.

seriously my friend asked mi how much i noe abt RK. but i dun know how successful he is, wat he's doing and how he goes abt it except for the many examples he showed in his books.

its like reading how to make "millions in 1 night" (juz any example) but not knowing whether the author himself has or can do it.

not trying to challenge but, if u noe abt RK, do show mi so i can show my friend.

I invested alongside into some RK's ventures from year 2001 onwards. He indeed made good money out of those ventures. That's excluding his "Rich Dad" series of products and his real estate portfolio.

Seriously, why is there a need to question on RK's networth? Even if he is a outright liar, his concepts do make certain sense.

It's funny how you and me read the same book and come up with different conclusions.

I started my first company ZERO down. None of my partners forked out a single cent too. Today, this company has grown strength to strength and making profits every year.

Suggest you mix with people who truly understand the concepts. Most people, unfortunately, got it wrong.
