Default Poll shows many S'pore respondents want new jobs in 2 months or less

An online poll has shown that more than half of respondents in Singapore hope to find a new job in two months or less.

In addition, about a third of the 435 people surveyed would like to get a new job in two to four months.

Across Asia, more than half of the participants believe that they would move to a new job in a couple of months.

This is the finding of a global online survey conducted by international recruitment consultancy Robert Walters.

1,872 people took part in the poll and majority of the job seekers are convinced that they will find a new job in less than half a year.

Only 3 percent of the participants felt that they would take longer than six months to find a job.

Robert Walters said this shows that businesses could see a higher turnover rate.

Singaporeans get burned out faster. We work so hard, pay could be quite substantial but it would be gone so fast it would make your head spin
