if you have great interest and ambition of joing the force, why not? As long as you are going towards your ambition, every start is a great start.

My elder bro is a full-time policeman in trainin. Benefits are good and gov jobs are getting the most out of the economy. But once u sign the contract, there's monetary forfeit if you quit.

Monthly wage depends on educational qualifications and there's a 5-10% pay raise after the probation period i think. Most imptly is your interest in this kind of career. Perhaps u may wan to pm my bro under the username "Blade" if u r interested to noe more.
