Total SGC$: 69.80 | Pimples on forehead As my picture shows on the left, I like keeping my fringe long and swept over one eye, according to my friends, this is the cause of my forehead having quite a lot of pimples.
I'd like to know if there's any way of getting rid of these well/stopping more pimples from coming out bar cutting off my fringe.
I was my hair rather throughly every day once or twice when I shower, is it enough?

however you are a guy =\ which is hard to imagine....
Washing it too much wont help much . Since after a few hours the oil from the hair will go to your face.

I really dont wanna cut off my fringe, I could hook my fringe over my ear ( its definitely long enough for that lol ) but I look super nerdish when I do that.
Any idea if thinning the fringe would help?

These pimples on forehead may start as a whitehead, blackheads, or small pustules but may take the shape of acne or pimple. Also, if your hair are coming on your forehead then they can increase the chances of pimples or worsen the existing ones.
Home treatment for pimples
Curing pimples or preventing them requires you to remain spot clean. If affected, washing the affected area with a cleanser, twice a day is a very useful method. But, avoid using strong soaps. You can treat mild acne with over-the-counter medicines in your home. Such medicines usually have antibacterial substance such as benzoyl peroxide. Home treatments will take a few weeks to exhibit any changes in your condition. If even after 2 months your condition does not improve, you should meet your physician. 人情味不是偏私而是博爱,

Your hair traps dirt and bacteria and thus when it constantly irritates the already clogged pore, the bacteria infects the area and thus the result of a pimple.
Thinning you fringe doesn't really help as bacteria can survive on your hair still. Best is to wash your fringe often, and clip it up with a hairband or something whenever possible. Especially when you are at home or even when you are sleeping.
Oh and also take note that pimples on the forehead can be caused by stress and for girls, when you are pmsing.
Those bands in the picture, you can get it from chameleon or aries. =) The girl with the signature red font. -The name thee dare not speaketh-

I suffered from pimples too, damn lot in fact but it has gone down loads.
Cheap solution:
- Wash your face/forehead 3 times a day.
- Wash your hair EVERYDAY *which you are doing, good job, but not more than once because it will spoil your hair in the long run*.
- Blot your face/forehead whenever it's oily *I have to say this but oily skin invites more dirt to stick onto it*.
Yes, listen to those people, use a hairband at home, you don't have to care what kind. A plastic version is good enough *Think of David Beckham ok*
Expensive solution:
- Go for facial once a month *Some dirt could have been stuck inside and unable to purge out, you need to get it removed to prevent it from forming again*.
Actually, once will do.
p.s. If you do opt for facial, please go for the $50 aka cheapest one. It is the same as those $200 type except the products used. The main focus is still SQUEEZING the impurities out.
