Wink Photography Club

Hello, anybody here takes photography as a hobby or on a semi-professional/professional basis?

If so, feel free to chat here and let's talk about this interest!

I have been taking photographs since 2004, starting with a Panasonic point & shoot, moving on to the Panasonic FZ30 and finally upgrading to a DSLR at the end of 2007. My interests are mainly on:

* Abstract
* Buildings
* Cosplay
* Nature
* Portraiture
* Street/Candid

Cheers!

Welcome ^^

You can start learning photography by reading up some photography books from the library. There's quite a lot of books for beginners etc

Welcome

Sanyo.. haha, I didn't expect them to come up with their own digicams, but looks good yeah.

Don't have to volunteer lar, just take some photos during an event and post it up here or in other forums for sharing purposes

Haha I see.. but isn't ISO 800 rather grainy for film? Which brand did you use?

Although I do admit that you have to be more accurate in terms of setting your exposure (film gives you more leeway), it is still an effective tool to help you overcome the initial learning curve

Anyway, welcome to the club

Hello there, do you mean those stars that flew in from Taiwan/Korea/Hong Kong?

Those events (where they made their appearances) are always a challenge.. good for you!
