You can go to Hillarys Boat Harbour in the northern suburbs, where there is beach, food and an underwater observatory. Or go wine-tasting in the some of the wineries located in Swan Valley, not far from Perth. |

The train only serve the north -south..and is in the process of extending
Cab is quite expensive and rare, from city to the airport cost around AUD30 and you need to call.
Bus, if in the city is good, else where, sometimes may need to wait up to an hour
Advise is to rent a car if you are going around Perth...car rental is cheap in Perth. You can get a Mitsubishi Lancer for less than 30 a day, depend on the company..can get as cheap as 17/day

Think there is a free bus service around town square if you need.
Otherwise, try bayswater car rental. Cheap toyotas for rental |

There is an outlet mall for discount shopping, dress-smart or something. Can't really remember the location but I drove around in perth. Parking will be an issue and will not be cheap. I remember heading to the various flea markets and farmer markets on saturday and sunday. |

Check out the one in Perth. It is located in West Perth and it is open on Sunday
Shopping on Sunday are mostly in the City and Fremantle, else is the various flea markets available in various surburb, but the flea markets usually start in the morning and end at noon. However Subicaco is one of the exception one that open till 5.
If i recall correctly, the YHA in perth city is located near northbridge (perth's chinatown) and is like 5,10 walking distance to the city mall. |
