Performance bouns/Year end bouns - Singapore's Online Community

Now in the company i m working in, the boss told me b4 during the interview, i asked him whether there is year end bouns for me, he said that their company dont have year end bouns system, but has a performance bouns.

hmmm year end bouns better and more or performance bouns is better and more?

any one has performance bouns instead of year end bouns before ?

depends on your position. but I rather have the year end bonus as it's more fixed. and they can actualy give you only abit saying that you did not perform up to their expectation all those things while to you might have already did all the things requested.

hmmm, then shld i change job? this is my first job and i only worked for 2.5 month only ....

hmm....Get a job quickly before you tender. Anyway it should be only 1 week notice before you are comfirmed. And think you don't need to put this company into your resume. But it's not good to job hop. Now you are young, I advice you to change job like only 1-2 years in a job. Once you reach 32 or 33, better stick to one job as long as possible. Coz not alot of company want to hire family man. When young, you got more value as in you got more time for the company then rushing home to look after kids all those things.

I think have year end bonus is better, more secure, SURE got money take. Performance bonus the boss can come out with something like the company is not doing well, etc..

My previous coy doesn't even have any single shit of bonus and i stayed for 10 months there.

i asked them before , they said they didnt receive any last year because my company just started in singapore last year august, too fast to give bouns in last year dec, so they also hope this year end will have :biggrin4:

Hmm, like this up to you already, u think the company is making $ most probably will ahve bonus then u can stay, if u think not making then maybe u should seek a new job.

year end bonus is AWS?

performance bonus, as its name suggest, is base on performance.

dun becos of 1 reason: no bonus (which u are not even sure got or not) then decide to resign.

see if u can learn or not, whether u like the scope or not. gain more experience first.

Since this is your first job, its easy to cheat your resume. Just don't put this 2.5mths job in ur CV. Quickly find another job which u like and stay there for 2yrs. But make sure this is right wan, abo jump from ok job to a burning oil. Lol.

Yes. Year end bonus is AWS. But think of this way. It's a so call must for all of us. It's not fair not able to get this. In US, they get paid every 4weeks which they call monthly coz 1 month=4weeks. Since there's 52 weeks in a year, they get paid 13 times in a year. So if we base on the monthly in singapore, we only get paid 12 times a year. It's not fair lor.

dun compare US and SG lah.

aws is not mandatory, so there is no issue of fair or not fair.
