a few days ago i went to the gucci boutique @ taka.. (cos taka has storewide 10% off for taka cardholders! ^^)

the designs (especially the nicer ones) were not in sight.. (i think they purposely keep those that are more popular..) so i asked the sales promoters if the design i want was still available or not.. but 3 of them simply tell us: everything is on the shelves.. if not there means no more stock available.

then i asked the 4th staff.. well.. at least she entertained us by showing me a brochure which dont have much designs.. so i tried to describe the design to her.. but she gave me a puzzled look and claimed that she dont really know which 1 i was referring to.. so i asked 'i saw the design at the paragon branch, can u ask them to transfer over to this branch?'

instantly the sales promoter said, 'oh! i think i know which design u are referring to.. i may have stock in my storeroom.. let me go and check it out for u..' and later, 'miracle' happened and she came back with the design i want..

so fake loh! only treated me well when she knew i really wanted to buy the bag.. but well, it's typical of the Gucci staff lah (those from paragon are even WORSE). generally their service SUXS BIG TIME.. so i dont have any (good) expectations from their service anymore..

on the other hand..

i'm VERY impressed with fendi's (taka branch) service though! although i was in casual wear (and slippers! haha!) but this sales assistant was very sincere.. she took the trouble of showing me several bags.. morever, she had to go to the storeroom to look for them loh!

however, the designs were not to my liking.. so as much as i want to support her, i didnt.. and so far she's the 1st promoter (be it for branded or non-branded goods) who could tell me 'it's ok' so sincerely! really impressed! shall seriously consider fendi if i wanna buy a branded bag again.. hope she's still there then!

aiya complain also no use. The society look up , don't look down . You try going Hong Kong, Japan, Korea , your treatment lagi worst if u wear casual .

hahaha it always happens. Singapore service sucks, always looks down on people. The last time I went hongkong, they are super friendly even if you try alot of things and don't buy in the end. Still can say bye bye and smile at you. If it happened in singapore, guarantee black face.

Sumtimes the customer service at those not so high-end goods store even better than those at high end goods. Probably cos those at high end goods store like to pick and choose.
Probably Singapore should encourage tipping to reward good service.

i think the sales representatives have to be trained la... u see shops like giordano .. they smile and greet you de lor .. then if u reject them not to help you, they won't tail u around also ..

but i do agree sg de sales service is damn lousy la ... sometimes even when the sales person is rude to me , i give them a chance by smiling to them while i spoke to him/her.. if he still that attitude, i will not buy from him liao ..

no matter what, there are still good services out there. everyone have to do a part la . they have to provide us good service, and we, when we approach them, try not to sound so fierce or unfriendly la !

** AND !!! in business modules i learn, we have to learn how to pick targeted customers !! i always disagree with this. even if i know is a not potential buyer, i think the sales person shld also serve him equally !!! not just serve those potential customer lor !! who knows that buyer might be a mystery shopper or just some pity ones who wants to know more about the product !!!

They always tot they work in branded shop they are beri class one lor...

They felt they are beri high class ppl surround with all the branded goods...

There was once I went to a Branded shop in Nee Ann City I wanted to buy one bag.

I walk in buy wear Jeans and Blouse very plain looking they sales girl look at me and turn away and soon a foreigner (Ang Mo) walk in they Greeted her Welcome and walk towards her and ask her if she need any help.

I went up to one of the sales girl ask her for help she look at me and say WAIT... Than she went up to another foreigner (Ang Mo) and ask her if she need help.

I was there for 30min no one help me... They give me a look as if I am going to steal their Bags like that...

Now I go KL buy Branded Bags at lease in malaysia they don't look down on us...

i remember a trainer from ADAM KHOO workshop told me, his name is le...something.

He went to a BMW car shop with simple dress and ask for how much and the sale person ( glance at him once and never say anything ). He went up and look for the guy and the guy just simply tell him the price.

! month later, he wear until super jialat ( some short of ah pek wear those ah pek find in chinatown ).
He walk up to the same person again and say he want to buy the car. The guy thought he was joking and reply "so down payment or installment". My trainer reply, erm please take a look outside, saw that bike got something on it? guess what that thing. The person did not guess and my trainer say: please get that thing over for me. When the person open the thing, he was shock to find that the bow was full of cash.^^
