i'm going to taiwan but my hp doesnt have auto roaming service as i'm still not the age of 21 and couldnt apply... i'm thinking of buying prepaid card in singapore as they have auto roaming services but i dont know which type of prepaid card is best (e.g. M1, Singtel or Starhub). :handsup:

anyone can give suggestions???

The prepaid market in Singapore is really under-developed... Credit in it can/will expire... even the number itself can expire!

If there is no real urgent need (like you live off the stock market or sth) to have a phone while you are overseas, stick to public phones.

daily minimum consumption:
10 pints of beer (lager preferably)
5 shots of whiskey
5 shots of vodka

and one very bad headache...

but if got lost in the crowd and unfamiliar with that area then need to have hp to contact each other mah..

btw after topping up the value, the expiry date will also be extended...

You can buy M1 prepaid cards which will be better or just buy the world cards and use the pubic phone will be cheaper....

Using the payphone may be troublesome. I activate my auto roaming for just that period of travelling. ;p
