Hey hi! im new here. hoho.

Anyway, i have seen an increasing trend in online selling/buying.

What are ur views? Any positive or negative experience?

And lastly where do u usually shop online!! come share with me as im sick of buying n selling in the same community..

Hello, first of all, WELCOME !!! =))
Do a introduction at the 'Welcome Centre' section, so we get to know more about you. =)

I agree to a certain extent. Nowaday, it really common to see online shopping.. It is actually good as all you need is a $5 to set up a shop. And you can sell or exchange away your 2nd clothes or buy 2nd hand clothes which can save money and save environment..

But due to online shopping. Victims can be easily get scammed. Victims usually paid but did not get the items. Or when they meet up, things may turn awry. Alot trust is needed, therefore you have to build up your reputation when setting up an online shop.

Advice is that, make your shop plain and simple, look more pro. Don't put too fancy stuffs, it will make your shop look like you are childish. Terms and condition must be written down carefully.

oops. yeah i've yet to edit my journal. ya i've heard quite a lot about scamming with regards to purchasing online. Some even decided to get the police involved. :handsup:

scamming is still a way of cheating, so police should be involved. But I don't think they can do anything about it. It take quite an effort to track down people on net, and there's too much scam around.

ya the other time, eventhough a huge amount of money was involved, the police refuse to do anything. they end up threatening the girl that the whole group of them wld go to her house if she did not return them the money..

tsk tsk cruel girl..

the thing is, the online community that i joined, they will take in all the details of the users(address, email, hp no) so that shld anything happen they can easily track down that person. which i think is a good thing la.

But what if the girl dun wish to reveal any details to avoid harassment? For example the girl is a pretty girl, and the guy like her, all he need is to buy one thing and get all her details..

haha i mean not everyone is accesible to her details la. only the moderators have all these details. they will only let the details out to the people who kena scam, for serious cases
