Girl Which one should i choose??

Hi im a newbie here and this is my VIRGIN thread.
Well actually im confuse, which one should i choose? Cos recently i wen interview for "Flight Stewardess" position and i got in but the training will be overseas for like 5 weeks subj to ext, the intake will start end of FEB.

This morning i wen for another interview at Capitaland head office for "GSO" and gues wat!?! I got in too. But i dunno should i go for the airline job or jus stay in singapore for the GSO position. Im reluctant to go for the "FS" position as the training will be in overseas and im not so use to be away from my hubby & kids that kinda long no doubt the MONEY is super good. I gotto make my decision asap...sighhhhh still confuse and really dunno wat to do/choose. If ya out there to be in my shoe wat will ya do or choose??:cry3:

Nobody could be more surprised than me, but apparently I am sort of Elvish Queen and impervious to earthly criticism.

Well, would you like to ponder over your priority to make it simple: Career & money or family?

It's always the challenge women face in Singapore, especially those who need to work.

You may want to discuss with your hubby and arrive at a mutual agreement/understanding. That way, you will have better support in most areas including family commitments.

So Others May Live

Hi Calis, thanks for ya reply.
for my hubby, he's fine if i decided to fly again. The only thing is me myself reluctant to go, cos of the training. Its gonna be silly for me to reject the high pay job and go for a decent pay. Furthermore, flying is wat i always wanted but didn't expect the training gonna be that long.
:speechless:

It's good to hear that you have a dream of flying and travelling. However, may I burst your beautiful dream of being a Flight Stewardess?

We have a former flight stewardess here who was formerly with SIA. The working hours will be irregular and resting time will be jam packed. There won't be much time for travelling, sight-seeing and shopping. There will be days off, but you will need to be on stand-by and be ready to fly should there be a shortage of cabin staff.

A short stint will be already when your family supports your decision. If you want to be close to your family and unwilling to be away for long periods, then you I suggest accepting the GSO position.

In such situations, it's a "you win some you lose some" kind of scenario. There will be some trade-off, and if you feel the trade-off is worth it, then go ahead with the decision.

So Others May Live

It'll just be a one-off few weeks training session...You can always stay in contact with your husband via the phone.

It's nothing compared to the constant flying that you'll experience when you complete the training.
