Now the generation had changed, guys started to pierce ears, of course me myself have also.

Why some parents, especially mother dislike their son to have a ear piercing?
In their mind, guys piercing is called ''AH BENG'' -.-"
Don't they understand the generation now?

Hmm, and any girls out there who don't quite like guys to pierce any parts of their face? Or any girls who stil thinks that guy piercing is v ''ahbeng''?

Used to have few piercing during my rebellious period, put for the sake of fun. Even to the extend of enlarging the hole. But damn long never put liao, close hole liao.

To me, having piercing nowaday is a trend, not beng.

i have a piercing too, at my left ear, its just there for an accessory sake la... rings and necklace are no diff from earring wad, only diff is the part of our body that we wear it, wads so beng? =X but putting urself in the "mothers shoe" i GUESS most mothers want their son to look handsome, clean, decent, etc etc... and in their generation, earrings are for girls or 'ah bengs' thats why they are so... uptight over it ba

What is the purpose of a ear piercing? Dont think you can look for a decent job with an enlarged earlope or even juz a ear studs.

Ppl who wanna look cool doesnt have substance, those who have substance dont need to look cool.

erm teenagers all dont think much about the consequence of piercing tattoo all these bah they just want to look cool and style bah

but as they grow older they know that it will affect them looking for jobs all this then slowly they will remove them bah

to fall in love is always easy
to start a relationship is always simple
to build it, is always tough
to maintain it, is 'better said than done'
to break off, is 'easier said than done'
to remain friends after u broke off, is never possible
to forget the memories is 'always doing but never succeeding'
to heal the pain within is hard and tough and never near simple
but one has to try to heal your own heart...

I must agree that there is some Beng factor associated with it and you can never expect ur parents to understand that. I had an ex with piercing and so far all frens who saw him say his beng.

When I go training recently, my students ask me..."cher, you got studs, you got smoke?"

I go "nah, what for?"

Then they diam diam....I figured that they do it becoz everyone is doing it...the 'sheep' mentality....which put it in a very nice way...called trend.
