Any1 status is still receiving attention? Most of my GF friends are successfully posted into it already but my girlfriend is still receiving attention. Her nitec GPA was 3.7 and her friends are all lower then 3.5. I called the school many times le and all they know is tell me to wait. Freaking 3 weeks already.... my GF hasn't been able to sleep well for the past few weeks.

all my girlfriends including me haf already received the results these few weeks and haf already enrolled. we appealed quite late also. around mid march..you shud receive ur results before april because 2 wk of april is orientation alrdy!

no! its given to those ppl who go jc during jae and decide to change their mind and go for poly. two of my girlfrens including me were all from jc and we were given places first. when we went down to appeal, the admission lady din even gif a damm abt those other ppl who were askin for a place and even told them vacancies full, but when she saw we were in jc uniform, she ask us to write a letter on the spot!

My GF and her friends are from the same course same school and applying for exactly the same courses. My GF GPA was 3.7 while theirs are 3.5 and below.... But all of them are male and my GF is the only girl among them. They are applying for DIPLOMA IN ELECTRONICS, COMPUTER & COMMUNICATIONS ENGINEERING
DIPLOMA IN DIGITAL & PRECISION ENGINEERING
DIPLOMA IN MECHATRONICS ENGINEERING

Wonder if NYP is bias against females in these courses....

b4 in nyp...
i oso face the same problem like yr gf b4 i enter to it...
my gpa is 3.3 and yet my frzs they all onli 2.8....
knn they still get into it b4 mi and yet i hav to wait 4 next year intake....
i think is depend on luck ba...
we oso gt try rp b4... all tio rejected.... they onli selected 1 of of my frz wif gpa 2.4

Since u said that the admission saw u wearing JC uniform, ask u to write down ur name. So u are trying to telling ppl who are apply for poly to wear JC uniform???
Somemore NYP have hostel wad. Of cos is let those oversea students to stay wad. U think poly no need to earn money meh? Of they will consider certain percentage of oversea students to come to NYP la.
and this is nyp DAE of cos tok abt nitec student la and for those who did badly in o level....

haha...I'll translate what she meant "when I,the most glamorous princess,walked into the office.My fancy dress(jc uniform) immediately OUTSHINES the poor & dirty peasants(ITE grads).Needless to say,I'll be selected without ANY doubts or oppositions.(...din even gif a damm abt those other ppl...) Every letter & word that I wrote with my beautiful hand is as worthy as GOLD & it's convincing enough that I should be selected despite the LOOOOOOG queue.(she ask us to write a letter on the spot) LOL
