Starting next month, taxi accept NETs...

At least next time no need to go draw money just to pay for cab fare liao.

30 cents extra though...

If u travel for long distances shouldnt be much of a problem i guess ? but if its just nearby , that 30 cents does matter .

30cents should be nothing to people who took cab.. instead of taking the trouble to queue up at atm.. aim purpose to take cab is to save time..

Wad xing said very true . If ppl were to be bothered abt that 30 cents they wont take cab already . Anyway this way eh , more likely for more of those card scams . As in the taxi driver might just make a put an extra reader than copy the data off ur card . And they would be able to see ur pin easily .

With newspaper always writing abt such stuff . U nvr noe lor . Sometimes those taxi drivers greedy for more money den die liao la .

True. But the reader I dont think able to get in Singapore. It might be banned. the Reader itself might have firewall behind. and u need the card inorder to redeem the cash. So do you attach the another reader, and rob the person card ?

i think 30 cents is definitely worth it lor. save all the trouble. but now heard news that next time buy things can use fingerprints. fdono if applies to cab aahahah
