Nodding Donkeys - Singapore's Online Community

Anyone ever experienced any nodding donkeys on the MRT?... People who don't have a corner seat, but still wanna sleep on the train...

Was on the train back from work today after a very long and tiring day at the office... Got on at Boon Lay, so got a corner seat and sat down... At about Buona Vista, this NUS student (can tell from his T-Shirt) got on and plonked himself down beside me...

So being tired, I started to rest my head on the glass panel beside me to get some shut eye since it's a long train ride back to Pasir Ris where I stay... But after sleeping for barely 2 stops, I got up after feeling someone knocking repeatedly on my shoulder...

I found him asleep beside me, but rocking left and right due to the movement of the train, each time knocking against me and waking me up... Sigh... Being nice, I shifted myself around so that he'll notice that he's annoying me... But he woke up blurry eyed, smiled at me and continued sleeping...

But after sleeping, he continued nodding and knocking against me... End up all the way I couldn't get any bit of sleep cuz of that nodding donkey... Each time whack him, he'll wake up, diao me and go back to sleep...

What's more, his head dunno how come so oily... The patch on my office shirt that he hit so many times now has a big oil patch there... And I was thinking of wearing again tomorrow de... Sadded...

Anyone had any experiences with nodding donkeys on the train before?

mine is a tiko pek
he keeps shifting beside me
then he got some kind of smell on him
i feel like slapping him

for me sometimes i would do dat in da bus, n dat would only happen when im extremely exhausted

Sometimes I too tired also sleep on the train leh. Dun anyhow call people donkeys leh :disgust2:

I mean if u are really really tired u can grab any corner seat if any then jus learn on the glass panel. But if there isn't any its better to blast ur music and keep urself wide awake to avoid any inconveniences.
