Does anybody know if a Japan wii console is compatible for a US version game?

i think japan Wii only supports japan and europe version game, dunno where i read it from

i think europe version is not the same as US so therefore u cant play europe version game on us version Wii. same with japan version.

well thts what i think coz somehow i read it from an article saying europe+japan game cant be played on us Wii.

I just bought a Japan wii console.
I heard from some saying US games (which spore is selling) cannot be played on Japan wii console. Whereas there are quite a number of "experts" saying that Japan wii console is region-free and it can play both Japan and US games.

So I'm pretty confused and I need advise. I don't wanna waste a SGD$60 on a original US game and later find out that it can't work.

So I need to get a few answers to be pretty sure first before getting the game...

aww sorry, i cant help u at all... maybe u can go to nintendo website(if there is any) or maybe google to check out the response from other people=)

if u wanna play any region games and priated games, u have to mod ur Wii.. this is the only way.....

japan set cant surport US version ...

US version cannot support japan version.

is safe ar.. all console or handheld console if dun mod, u wont be able to play priated games or region free games.

if not safe, no 1 dare to do mod le. :biggrin4:
