Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, Harvest Moon DS, Sonic Rush(Adventure), Digimon World Dawn/Dusk, Phoenix Wright, etc etc...

Try Puzzle Quest. It is a rpg/puzzle mix. Easy to pick up and really addictive once u learn how to play it.

Check out the online reviews. Lotsa great reviews

legend of zelda is great. it keeps playing for 2weeks now.

Oh there is a English version of Cooking Mama. But I got is as a present so I'm not sure where my friend bought it from.

I played once but was with R4 card.. in fact saw it in the game shop... its english version.. tho its quite common, a lot of place also have...

As for DS games, i would strongly recommend Mario64DS. Getting used to the control scheme would take some time but once you do, I'm sure most of you would enjoy it as much as i have.
I have been playing it for around 2 weeks now, & i haven't gotten bored of it yet.
