According to Daniel Koh, an unexpected flooding of Ngee Ann Polytechnic's atrium brought chaos and put a disappointing halt to the Red Camp performances and CCA displays on Nov 30.
The 17-year-old student reported that a heavy downpour had caused the drainage systems to overflow, with excess water gushing out from draincovers and through the flooring of Ngee Ann's sheltered atrium.
Several ground level offices and shops based in the Atrium were also flooded, with cockroaches and filth seen swirling around in the water.
Ongoing activites for Red Camp, organised for potential NP students, were cancelled due to the flooding.
