Total SGC$: 119.00 | New Hidden Find Was just invited to a new hidden find at Wessex Estate along Portsdown Road - Pietrasanta - The Italian Restaurant is opened by Jennifer Tan and her husband, Loris Massimini, owners of La Pazzaiola along Holland Drive.
One of the things I like about this place is the simplicity of the décor and furnishing. Diners have a choice of sitting in the spacious dinning area inside or dine al fresco outside the courtyard. Does anyone else have any interesting hidden find to share?

The food was overall very good - the appertisers and the mains were excellent, though their desserts can be better.
Prices are also pretty reasonable as well. The Thinly Sliced Beer Tenderloin with Rocket Salad and Shaved Parmesan with Lemon and Extra Virgin Olive Oil Dressing was $15.90 and the Black Mussels in White Wine and Fresh Tomatoes was going for $18.00. The mains we had were Italian Risotto with Porcini Mushrooms ($19.90) and Home-made Potato Gnocchi tossed with Blue Cheese Sauce ($18.90). Tried the Tiramisu and White Chocolate and Muscato Wine Parfait (both $8.90).

Try the restaurant in the golf club there. Very decent prices. I usually whack the chicken chop. Huge. Haven't been there in over a year though, heard that many things have changed. |

Total SGC$: 119.00 | Re: New Hidden Find Just chanced upon another hidden find - this time a cosy cafe tucked in the corner of the eclectic Haji Lane - Going Om.
It is a café with a western subculture concept of New Age, where besides food, fun and activities (Flow toys performers e.g. movement artists, spinners, twirlers, circus freaks, martial artists, jugglers, object manipulators gather every Thursday nights), patrons can also get to indulge in intuitive card readings, crystal healing and meditation classes, the latter to be held every Sunday evening at 7pm where one can learn to focus on visualisation and manifestation techniques amongst other skills.
Do give their homemade desserts a try! I personally like the Apple and Pear Crumble.
You can view the photos I took and read my full review on this place here.
