TOKYO, July 23, 2008 (AFP) - A powerful earthquake shook northern Japan early Thursday, injuring at least 90 people as its force shattered windows and set off fires in an area hit by a deadly tremor just a month ago.

The earthquake, measuring 6.8 on the Richter scale, struck the north of the main Japanese island of Honshu as most people were asleep and cut off power to around 10,000 homes, officials said.

Nostradamus predicted a sort of End of the World situation back in 2000, at that time it was such a phenomenom because ALL knows how accurate his predictions are. Some even started stocking up provisions in Western countries. However it never happened. Was it just a miscued prediction or we reali just brushed shoulder with Armageddeon?

My personal feel is at that time, ppl ard the world are so paranoid and cautious, that they start to have more conscience of their actions. If everyone ard the world more or less be wary of their actions and thus caused less sins, i believe by Nature's mercy we were given a chance. Who knows, maybe its just a short postpone of the deadline?

In any case, I do believe Mankind have the power to change their fate, provided all think as One and for a Better Good. 3 cheers for Anti-Global-warming activists~~

I remember seeing a news regarding this man spending all his $70K savings before year 2000 because it was predicted by SOMEONE that Year 2000 will be Armageddon. Then what happened?
