Firstly, u have to convert the song to .wav file using converter (I'm currently using Power Audio Converter). Here's the link to dl: http://www.download.com/Power-Audio-...ml?tag=lst-0-2 Secondly, u can use Sound Recorder (Go to Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Entertainment -> Sound Recorder) to cut away the unwanted portions. Open the file 1st and use "Delete Before Current Position" and "Delete After Current Position" under "Edit". SGC$: 17.80 Bank: 0.00 Total SGC$: 17.80 | Re: Need help here : How to modify a mp3 song audacity is a free open source audio editor. i use it sometimes if i just want to trip simple mp3s. http://audacity.sourceforge.net just highlight the section on the waveform, and select "trim". tada, everything is cropped. now you can export to .mp3 (which is another issue) audacity exports to .wav and .ogg only when you download the software. because of some licensing issues, go to http://lame.sourceforge.net and download the version of lame. unpack it and look for the file lame_enc.dll and then just paste it anywhere into the audacity program folder (which by now should be in your program files folder) and you can export to .mp3! |
