currently working in Jap MNC,boss,colleague,environment relax,no need OT,5 DAYS WORK.but pay low
if you will in my show,will you change job ??

depends hw low is ur low if 1xxx yes... 2xxx i dont see a need unless u already there for more than 2 yrs no increament... also depends on ur qualification....

Thaks for all the advice,actually my pay is $2.3k only,assitant engineer diploma so i find that $250 more offer than current job is not worth the risk as my current company is near to my house and has trasnport where
else new job 45-min to 1 hr trip from my hse.but this time is engineer post.

If i am going to stay at my job,it will take another 2 to 3 year to get promote again.by then,i am 36.that why i am in deliama.Heard that new job need to work a lot of OT also.

Any view to add on??

It depends on what motivates you ler. Sometimes we only worry abt the pay (natural lar, 'cause everything increase in price nowadays) but the grass is not always greener on the other side. What's high pay when you're treated like shit.. ?

If you think you can survive on the current pay.. although not much room for luxury, I say stick to it.

if the amt is just 250 more i wont even consider.... wats more the current working place is near ur house while the new job is 45 min - 1 hr away... does the 250 more even covers ur transport????

if u recently join the company as in under a yr... assistant is normal.... bt if u prove tat ur capabilities they would promote u to be an engineer after a yr or so...usually....

since u already 36 already have family right so i guess u may be thinking of $$ is need to support the family... however if u find an oppunity tat offers say a 1k increase than ur current pay maybe u can consider bt at the same time u need to weight the bendifit n career prospect of both side....

How long have you been working with the current company? 2 ~ 3 years promotion in a Japanese company is quite fast already i think, isn't it? If i were you, I may not leave the company if the environment is good, colleagues / bosses are good to work with. And importantly, no OT & 5 days work week. Perhaps you can consider some courses to upgrade yourself? This gives you better chance of getting a better increment.

If you want more time on your hand to do your own stuff then stay
if you want more $$$$ then leave
