erm.. i scored 225 at PSLE this yr.. i want to go nan chiau high school which has a cut off point of 231.. do u all think its advisable to put it as a first choice or not?

no harm trying anyway. it's by balloting right?. I had 237 years ago and I got admitted into Cedar which was opened to students with aggregate of 240.. =)

dun put it in the first choice..cos if u cant get in den u might not even get into yr second or third choice..so its better to get into the sch u prefer n can cope in there..

you dont know how the secondary school allocation system works do you..? ranked according to merit, then by choice number.

the PSLE scores this year seems to be higher, so the cut off point may be higher than 231 from the past year. i think you shouldnt try to opt for it, choose a school you have confidence of getting in.

Yea, not only they behave like young adults. They dress like one too. Just saw one P3 girl (my friend's friend) wearing a tube top, kid's heels, long layered V shaped hairstyle. Woooo....

Anyway, back to topic. Yea, u can try to put it as your first choice. No harm trying. If u really like to be in that school and did not manage to get it, u can try to apppeal.

Not all school depend on ur PSLE de, it can depend on fitness,talent,radius near school from ur house etc. u can tried... no harm, even if u cant den u also can get to second best school
