Haha. Jack Russells are cute. Good choice by ur sis-in-laws

I dont know if its advisable to leave your dog at home alone. But i think its okay. My aunt keeps her dog alone in the house from morning to night as well. But the dog had this tendency to whine while she's gone.

Toys may help alot. Keeps it occupied. I heard that dogs can play with the same toy for hours.

Do post some pics of your dog if you can I curious as to how cute it would be

JRT might be cute when they are a puppy...please note that they are famous for being hyper...alot of exercise are needed for them...as a puppy...its always recommended that you confine and start with paper training 1st...even if ur pup whines...DO NOT let ur pup out...DO NOT give him attention when he is doing the wrong things. give him lots of toys and raw hides to play n chew...

It advisable for u to confine ur pup in a playpen tht lay with newpaper to paper trained the dog. ignore your dog if she/he keep whinning. Maybe u are lucky tht your dog dun whine when u are confine he/she.

Jack Russell are cute but they they are super active. Love jumping around. Shed alot too...

My personal advice for Jack russell terrier. NEVER never to leave them alone for a long period of time....

they are so active which this make them destructive also. try to keep valuable beyond their reach and important thing try to confined them within a play pen if you really need to out till evening time. at least the damage cost might be minimise. leave some toy ard to kill their boredom.
