Mum delivered stillborn baby in toilet SHE found out about her pregnancy in January last year, but Wong Lih Tyng kept it to herself.
She hid her pregnancy, which reached the full term of 40 weeks, by wearing loose clothes.
On 1 Aug 2006 at around 3am, she started having stomach cramps at home and went to the toilet, where she delivered the stillborn baby.
It remained motionless and was not crying, though Wong tried to prod it with her fingers.
She then used a pair of scissors to cut the umbilical cord and placed the baby in a trash bag and hid it in the kitchen.
Later that day, she went to work at NTUC FairPrice in Bishan, carrying the trash bag with her.
UNBEARALBE SMELL
Wong, who worked as a part-time packer there, placed the baby inside the locker, along with some mothballs and packets of drying agent to contain the smell.
But the smell became unbearable after two weeks. On the morning of 14 Aug, her colleagues opened the locker and discovered the baby's body.
Wong was arrested on 15 Aug and charged in court the next day. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. |
