I think most people have a mind set that MLM is bad, hard to earn money or even scams...
so i started this thread to know what are your views on MLM?
personally, i liked the idea and feel that it is more of a matter of chosing the right company to join...
some are good while some or just a plain waste of time... |

I personally think MLM got such bad impression is due to MLMers who can't explain properly as well as some companies abusing the MLM system. - which leads to the bad impression
Furthermore, the main purpose of MLM is to create a fair distribution of wealth. Many companies or people can't understand that.

haha true... to me mlm is just another method to do sales (maximise word of mouth) thus passing on the savings to consumers | |

For e.g . The well-known pyramid scam. If u know that the company is doing a business by recruiting others and earning a huge income and ur promoting it. - its not ethical | |

I think time-wised, compared someone who gift 3 gifts to himself, its definitely worth it.
If u think someone like bill gates-who is in the mlm industry- got all the time in the world to waste, I guess ur richer then him? | |

Anyway, about the topic, MLM just like in every industry has its good side and dark side. On the good side, it is supposed to be an industry that maxmise the power of team, where one gains is the other's gain. However, as with every other system, people tend to try to break off the proper way and so some actions which may be unethical/not right in many ppl's view. That caused so much hype about this industry.
All i can say is if you are one in this line and does things the wrong way, then i plea you to quit faster. | |

anyway, i think it is important that the company provides good returns and the product is good 
and better if the boss only has the mlm company for him living...

MLM is a proven system to make money. But like all career, not everyone is suitable to be in that industry. Alot of hardwork has to be poured in to make it work.
Another thing is the hard selling. I believe that is the reason the image is bad. No one likes to be hard sell, even the hardseller. So I think unless this problem is sloved, its tough to convince how good the industry is.
