 MP for Tampines GRC Irene Ng marries Scotsman
SINGAPORE : MP for Tampines GRC Irene Ng tied the knot at a lavish wedding ceremony in Marine Parade.
She married Scotsman Graham Berry at the Church of Singapore on Saturday afternoon.
The couple's guests included friends, family and prominent guests like President SR Nathan and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
The 43-year-old MP wore a traditional white dress while her 62-year-old husband displayed his Scottish roots by wearing a kilt.
Bagpipes also played in the background.
The couple met in Scotland in August last year, and it took Mr Berry only two months to propose.
They also plan to have a dinner for relatives and friends in November in Ms Ng's hometown of Penang. - CNA /ls |
