It was said that the colours we chose that day, and the outfit, right down from our makeup to our accessories, is dependent on our mood of the day.

So if you are feeling happy, you will tend to choose summery colours. If you are feeling a little gloomy, you'll tend to pick gray, black or dark colours.

Well for me...today I was all decked in yellow (I even have a pair of sunflowers on my ears) even though I am feeling none like it as I woke with a bad flu. So I guess it doesn't really apply for me.

How about you guys?

It doesn't apply to me too. Like I may be feeling happy but I wear all dark colours.

Most of the time what i wear reflect my mood...but then again there are times when I woke up feeling shitty, I'll still wear sth cheerful/ bright and the rest of the day I feel happy again. Dunno why but it works. :p

i think it explains why i wear dull colors on wkdays and bright colors on wkends.. heehee..!

Not for me... I definitely don't dress according to my mood for that day. If it reflects, it's purely coincidental. For me, I usually plan my outfit in advance. If circumstances forbid, then I'll dress according to where I'm going, what I'm doing, matching colours etc...

Er.. I think I always dress happily. Friend say I look good in pink anyway.

If happy, it fit my mood.
If unhappy, at least it attract attention and people will show their concern.

hmmm, I dunno if I can be considered to be dressing according to mood. usually I look in my closet, pick one item that I feel like wearing then match everything else accordingly.
sometimes if I feel lousy, I'll actually dress up nicer to make myself look good and feel better.

To a certain extent only...some days when I'm happy I will wanna dress up more.. sometimes the weather also affects my choice of clothes...raining days i reach for long-sleeved tops while hot bright sunny day makes me reach for light-coloured and light-material clothes...But somedays I just grab what's available at top layer of my pile of clothes and wear and go..:biggrin4:

no thats not true... depends on wear im going and the weather. I tend to wear light colours during sunny days cos it's hot and I don't want to absorb heat. not because i'm feeling sunny or wad

i will always use the same colours no matter what because i know it suits me.
however sometimes, i'll put a lot of eyeliner or mascara.
because of that, all my eyeliner is gone!!

yep it's quite true for me! when i'm happy and cheerful, i will put in extra effort to dress up. not so good days, i won't bother dressing up and wld stick to black colour...

but there are also occasion when i am feeling gloomy, esp mondays, and i decided not to let that mood affect me, so dress up oso! it kinda helps~

Think even dark colors can look "happily" depending on the accessories? Like earrings, necklace, handbag etc
