MOM reminds workers to declare income by June 30 to get Workfare CNA
Singaporeans, who did not contribute to CPF last year or did not receive their income tax returns, are reminded to declare their income if they wish to benefit from the second and final portion of the Workfare Bonus Scheme.
They have till June 30 to do so.
They can declare their income at any of the five CPF service centres.
The Manpower Ministry said declarations made after this date would not be accepted.
The Workfare Bonus Scheme is part of the Progress Package that gives a cash bonus to older and low-wage Singaporean workers.
It is to reward them for regular and productive work.
The Ministry said more than 340,000 low-wage workers were given about S$157m for the first portion of Workfare.
As at 31 May, 348,000 Singaporeans have received the second portion amounting to S$162m. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. |
