Total SGC$: 236.88 | Miniature Schnauzer up for adoption. 2 year old female schnauzer for adoption. 18inches in length ( from tip of nose, to end of tail) . 14inches tall. She's really small. (: ( i'm sorry people, i just got her vaccination papers. and the previous owner told me she's 1 year! urgh. )
She behaves like a puppy, really. heeeeee.
I have re-named her : Monster. (: ( Adopters can choose to re-name her but i find this name really adorable)
She is looking for a forever home. If you cannot commit, please don't ask me any questions.
She is very trusting, docile, tame, friendly and always happy. She does not like to bark, but will call out to you when she is hungry or when she is very happy. She is really gentle as well! She will greet you with a short lovely howl when you come home, or when you wake up in the morning and she sees you. hee hee...
minimal adoption fee of $200, as requested by previous owner.
Pictures will be provided upon request. Viewing is also possible at my convenience.
Adopters please provide me with previous experience with handling of dogs.
Successful adopter will need to sign an agreement to sterilize her.
Adopters MUST be financially stable and will be screened thoroughly by me.
Why she needs to be rehomed : Aunt's friend's daughter in law just gave birth to a son, and the baby keeps falling sick and the doctor says that they should give the dog up. Thus..... ):
I would very much like to keep her, but i already have too many adopted animals at home.
They have kept the dog in a cage, thus her hind legs are weak. I let her roam around freely at my place, in hope that she will get better in time.
They do not bring her out for walks on leash, so she does not like being pulled around. She will resist till the very end.
Being schnauzers, their breed is very prone to skin problems. So extra precaution have to be taken be it diet wise, or the type of shampoo and conditioner used.
She is not newspaper trained either. I'm trying my best to train her now, so that when she gets adopted it will not pose as a problem.
Absolute no-no to chicken, eggs, rice. Some schnauzers can take it, but i prefer to be safe than sorry. Oh yah, She is not food agressive at all. She does not even have an ounce of agressiveness in her. Extremely gentle. Even if i try to snatch her food away while she is eating, she just lets me do it without any complain. Ok maybe just a little complain.
She is such a loyal sweetheart. She is sitting beside me as i am typing this. (:
If she doesn't go soon, i won't bear to give her up for adoption already...... please.... help me ask around...
Please do e-mail me at elviraophelia@yahoo.com.sg for more info on adopting her. Monster have been adopted on 28th July, by a kind australian couple, and monster have a playmate as well.
another miniature schnauzer named Cara.
(: i am so happy for her, i know her new owners will love her.

Total SGC$: 236.88 | Re: Miniature Schnauzer up for adoption. yah. people just dont think about the consequences when they buy a CUTE puppy. or any cute baby animals for the matter.
when the problem arises, they just dump it away and refuse to be responsible for their own actions.
they dont consider the animal's welfare either.
all these people should just DIE. or GO TO HELL. Slave of Debbie & Miko, (dogs) Emily & Timothy (bunnies) , Julian & Brandy ! (chinchillas)To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. |

can they just waive the $200 adoption fee, i would rather spend it for sterilization which i guess above $100, and for check-up at the vet, and licensing, and other expenses.. cc email to circleyonip@yahoo.com.sg
thanks |

Total SGC$: 236.88 | Re: Miniature Schnauzer up for adoption. Dear Cebux,
Thank you for your kind intentions. I really appreciate it. The adoption fee is put up, for a reason.
reason for the $200 adoption fee - this is to assure the previous owner that the adopter is financially stable. if the adopter is miserly, not even bearing to part with a $200 adoption fee, how can the owner be assured that the adopter will be willing to spend $ on the dog if, the dog happens to be sick?
the owner and i, see no reason why the adoption fee should be waived.
the $200 - will go to purchasing 2 huge bags of cat food to feed the community cats. ( FYI )
the owner's worst nightmare is miserable adopters.
My aim is to see that the dog goes to a nice family, kind owner, who will give her a forever home, and will be willing to accomodate her, not leave her when she is sick, or when any other problem arises.
I want to ensure that the adopter will not return the dog at the end of the day. Because as time goes by, the dog is being passsed to more and more people, she will in turn loose her trust in humans and realize she's being passed around like a ball, which is not what i want.
Adopters will have to be screened thoroughly, by me. I'm really sorry if i am going to ask alot of questions, or go through a long thought because, i, am rehoming this dog, not selling it. once again, my intentions are to see that the dog gets to go to a forever home with loving owners. someone trustworthy. i will not treat adopters like customers, or provide an exellent customer service. because, once again, i would like the little dog to go to a home which will be very patient with her. i understand your point. i'm happy to know that this so-called adoption fee will go towards the welfare/food for other pet animals... | Quote: | | | Originally Posted by -naaaa | | | | | | Dear Cebux,

Now that they r 10yrs old, I felt that they could be more responsible n taking care of a puppy will nurture them to develop n become more patient and caring adults.
Do contact me if you are seriously thinking of giving up yr cute puppy for adoption Thanks. |

just a note of caution - there's been people pretending to adopt, then resell the dogs at a price to earn a hundred bucks or so.
quite a few infamous ones already.. there are.
one or 2 are as young as 13 years old.
just a note of caution.
xxxxxxxx
i would have loved to adopt this MS if not for my busy work schedule and my westie boy doesn't enjoy his attention being divided.
wishing her all the best. |

i am wary of that thats why adopters are thoroughly screened. (:
