i dun really think so to a certain extend, alot of people around me always says "men and women are equal wad"
in wad way?
now that women can also earn money and support family?

hardly any more girl hide in the dark waiting for the prince on white horse to come knocking on their door, instead, they are the ones expressing love everywhere?

women can now also fight in the battle field?

ok, so i agree that in those areas, and more others, that women are equal with men

but there is still this... "men bigger den women" and "women are more protected" kind of concept going around aint it? for example, when in a fight, women VS women, no wrong, however, men VS women, men gets charged

another example is that in a marriage and having kids, the kids are mostly to have inherit the men's surname rather den the women (of cos, tis is a tradition... but... ai... i dunno how to explain)

Men and Women has never been equal. But in this modern Era, some women are more capable than men. We have woman World leaders like Queen E II, Margaret Thatcher (EX- British PM), President Aquino (The Phillipines), Queen Cleopatra (Ancient Egypt), etc. We also have female fighter pilots, warriors, scientists, doctors, etc.

In most countries, woman are not or less equal to men but in some societies, woman are still considered inferior to men especially those countries in Asia like Japan, Thailand, etc. Where the MCP thinking still exsist.

However, most men do not see taht women are equal to them. They always feel superior and protective towards womanhood.

eg. If we see a guy with many gals by his side, most guys would envy him and probably classified him a a successful PLAYBOY. But when the same group see a woman with many men around her, they would classified her as a SLUT or BITCH who sleeps around. Same scenario but different thinking.

No offence meant to the womanhood here.

The answer is no.Contemporary society is just beginning to delve into the true distinctions between men and women. Besides the obvious physiological differences, there are also differences in the way men and women think, speak, and behave. i also think Man and woman represent two forms of divine energy; they are the male and female elements of a single soul.

To some extend women now have the liberty. capabilities, and abilities to step to certain areas where acient women never stepped before.

Some examples are like authority of power in politics, medical, leadership etc. However, many things that allow women go engage in still comes in the minority range. No doubt women are becoming independent in lots of things like finance, self-substainence, and intellectual capabilities.

I wont be surprise seeing women dominating in certain areas in the near future, but there are real areas like physical abilities, & some intellectual abilities on how men & women are different in. I don't want to live in the olden men dominating pride, but nether do I accept women are any superior than men.

Men = Women is a way of pespective as both sexes display different kinds of unique abilities that play important roles in the world today. Without either, there won't be the other.

um, well i never liked and concluded the inequality between both genders, since i always believed that all humans are equal, that is be it the race, gender or whatever else.
Determining the inequality between both parties are actually one of the biggest reasons to why people behave egoistic and selfishly. :/
Of course some people chose to make it look like they are much inferior then the others. >_>

Being passive in many occasions doesn't mean that its not good.
Normally i define those type of people as the self-composed types.
lol, yeah exceptions from that category are lazy people, depressed etc..
And i see too many of those that engages in those very active situations, generally gets carried away, and in fact behave pretty childishly at many times.. (uh..no offence) Yes, genders to play a part in these situations.Individual interests do matter. Generalisation is a big culprit here when people thinks about inequality. :notimpressed2:

anyway i do think that the modern woman has more freedom, capabilities, and there is less restriction on the roles they play in society. perhaps this is due to the dilution of tradition. in china during the different dynasties, the role of the woman was to simply be a good wife and mother right? now, there are so many career-minded women, and u see governments and organisations, even the public trying to promote gender equality.

yes the gender gap is being reduced... but i still think women are regarded as inferiors to men. men still hold the top ranks of the corporate world, society, governments, etc. many men in fact still preserve the mindset that they are superior to women.

Eh, man and woman ar. I guess both gender can never be really equal. Chinese always say man = yang, woman = ying. Ying & Yang = Breed Harmony. Both gender have to be opposite to attract each other.

If say in terms of strength and directions, men are of course better.

But if say in terms of multi-tasking, women are better than men.
