I have the great opportunity to meet up with a great USA author by the name of Daren Falter lately. For those who don't know who is Daren Falter, he is the author of a best selling book called "How to Select a Network Marketing Company". In the book, he scrutinised over 400 network marketing opportunities and pinned it down to handful. First written in 1998, the book is now in the fifth revision and my mentor, Mr Norman Long, is in charge of editing the book.

Daren Falter is also the co-author of another best selling author, Robert G. Allen, in another book called "Multiple Streams of Income" where he wrote the chapter on network marketing. Daren is also in collaboration with Mark Victor Hansen who is the author of the best selling series "Chicken Soup" in a new book to be lauched in 2008.

Though skeptical about network marketing in general, I took an open mind and had many open talks with him and his group of millionaire friends in the past few days. It is a mind blowing experience to hear so many successful people speak.

His conclusions and mine fit and we all agree that the number one criteria is people. Once the right people are in place, other secondary factors such as product, market, training etc. will fall in place.

Daren took one step ahead with me on sharing that although the number one criteria is people, a factor that ranks even higher is YOUR OWN MINDSET.

Unless your mindset is tuned properly, the best people in the industry can't help you progress an inch.
