they do not vary that much only the agent handling u matters.
all their plans are more or less the same due to control of MAS =D
approaching them gives u a better overview of what kinda plans covers what. and also suits ur needs. Rich ≠ Wealthy

1) Payout for confinement in Community Hospital Daily upon referral from discharged hospital
2) Provides coverage for Pregnancy Complications and Congenital Disease (This is an excellent feature for mums to be)
Pregnancy complications and congenital disease are seperate charges that are not covered under the shedule for normal enhanced medishield plan. But like you said you got an *updated version, I may be wrong.
I am reading through the benefits shedule of Prushield (A Premier / A Plus), and I could not find the benefits there. So most likely the *updated version is not up or they still doesnt include the 2 features.
If you really want the cheapest plan and not really that much concern with the content i will advise you to seek income shield, the rates are the lowest from my knowledge
If your looking for rider to cover the deductible and co-insurance, policy owner of supremehealth are also entitled to a 20% discount for our rider. Total Shield. http://www.lifeisgreat.com.sg/en/jsp...otalshield.jsp Leo~

time to share again.
If you are thinking of comparing the plans, here's something to help you with. http://www.moh.gov.sg/mohcorp/hcfinancing.aspx?id=11222
that's a comparison of all the plans in the market as at Oct 2007.
Personally I have compared the plans and find that PruShield is one of the cheapest and has one of the most comprehensive coverage. However, I prefer shield plans from local insurance companies and hence did not buy from Prudential.
Also, due to means testing for hospital bills, likelihood is that there would be adjustment to the premiums of all the shield plans in the market. |

i tot all went under CPF n MOH 4 approval...
if i remember correctly, Prudential, AIA r the largest in terms of sales in SG n they haf one of the better n faster claim history than the smaller companies in SG....

most of the Medishield plans nowsaday, like AIA, GE, Prudential, Aviva can claim 100% on the medical bills wz the rider added except for NTUC....
pls enlighten me if i got it wrong....
so NTUC not really worth it....
Aviva also got the danger of unable to claim ltr....
so now lookin at GE, AIA n Prudential for comparison.... |

Enhancements:
Covers pregnancy complications.
Covers child abnormalities.
I'm waiting to see if my company is going to come up with any adjustment to make our plans more competitive. I will raise this during my next meeting to my boss so she can talk to the product design side when they have their meeting, thanks =)
But still our plans has this 2 features below I'm not aware that other plans has.
1) 20% discount for our rider. Total Shield.
2) Payout for confinement in Community Hospital Daily upon referral from discharged hospital Leo~
